Gantt Forge (the client application) is free software licensed under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify and redistribute it under that licence. It is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. "Gantt Forge" and its logo are trademarks; copies or forks must use a different name.
Supplied "as is, where is". The free app is provided in its current state, with whatever faults it has, and with no warranty of any kind. You use it at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law we accept no responsibility, ownership or liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of it — including lost or corrupted data, and any decision, schedule, budget or report made in reliance on what it calculates or exports. Your work is stored in your own browser, so keeping your own backups, and checking its output before you rely on it, are your responsibility. The full wording is in the Licence.
Passwords and passphrases. Gantt Forge can encrypt backups, exports and sync files with a password you choose, and version 1.16 encrypted the workspace with a passphrase and recovery code. We never receive, store or have any way to recover those passwords, passphrases or codes, or the data they protect. If they are lost, the encrypted files or data cannot be opened by you, by us or by anyone else, and we accept no liability for that loss. Keep them somewhere safe.
Gantt Forge+ is a hosted service operated by Kannan Subramanian ("we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.
Accounts. You sign in with an email address you control. You are responsible for the devices you sign in on and for your team's sync passphrase; we cannot recover data encrypted with a passphrase you have lost. Team owners are responsible for who they invite.
Acceptable use. Do not use the service to store or distribute unlawful content, to attack or overload the service, to attempt to access other teams' data, or to resell the service without our agreement. We may suspend accounts that do.
Your data. Your plans remain yours. We hold them only in encrypted form (see the Privacy Policy) and claim no rights over them. You can export everything at any time from the app.
Preview status. Gantt Forge+ is currently a preview. It is provided "as is"; we may change or withdraw features and will give reasonable notice of changes that affect your data. Keep local backups — the app makes this a one-click action.
Fees. The preview is free. If we introduce paid plans we will announce pricing and give you the choice to continue or export your data before any charge applies.
Termination. You may leave at any time (sign out everywhere, delete your account). We may terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination we delete your account data within 30 days.
Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, during the preview, is nothing).
Self-hosted servers. If your organisation runs its own Gantt Forge+ server, these terms do not apply to that server; its operator sets its own.

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where it applies.
